NeuroYouth Research Lab is a youth-led, provider-mentored research initiative embedded within Cornerstone Medical Services Foundation, a predominantly volunteer-operated free clinic serving immigrant and underserved communities in Washington State. NeuroYouth develops high school and college students into community-based brain and mental health researchers while addressing culturally relevant health inequities.

The program operates as a structured research lab where students identify community mental health challenges, conduct supervised research, and implement measurable interventions. NeuroYouth strengthens Cornerstone’s specialization in brain and mental health while building a long-term pipeline of culturally competent healthcare leaders.
