MENTAL HEALTH
We provide free primary care services for low-income families and individuals.
The process begins with universal mental health screening using tools such as the PHQ-9 and GAD-7. These screenings help identify possible signs of depression, anxiety, and other emotional health concerns. When additional evaluation is needed, participants are connected to a more comprehensive mental health assessment.
Based on each person’s needs, Cornerstone develops a personalized care plan that may include one or more of three integrated services:
Areas of Clinical Concentration
Psychiatric Care (Dr. Solee Lim)
Our psychiatric care includes evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing clinical monitoring. Areas of concentration include:
- Depression and anxiety
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Social anxiety
- Insomnia
- Bipolar disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
Behavioral Counseling
Our behavioral counseling provides individualized, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed support. Areas of concentration include:
- Anxiety and depression
- PTSD and trauma recovery
- Relationship concerns
- Recovery from domestic or gender-based violence
- Grief and loss
- LGBTQ+
- Life transitions
- ADHD-related emotional and behavioral challenges
Services are personalized according to each individual’s needs, treatment goals, and provider availability.
Strengths-Based Life Coaching (Angela Lee)
Our strengths-based life coaching uses the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment to help individuals recognize their natural talents and apply them in meaningful ways. Participants work with a coach to develop personalized, strengths-focused action plans. Areas of concentration include:
- Identifying and understanding individual strengths
- Building confidence and self-awareness
- Establishing personal, educational, and career goals
- Developing practical action plans
- Strengthening decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Building resilience and healthy relationships
- Monitoring progress and adjusting goals as needed
Strengths-based life coaching complements psychiatric care and behavioral counseling by helping individuals use their abilities to achieve meaningful, sustainable growth.
Matched to each person’s needs and coordinated across providers to prevent fragmented care. By bringing clinical treatment, counseling, and preventive strengths-based support together, Cornerstone helps youth and young adults receive the right level of care while building the skills and confidence needed for long-term well-being.
