Youth Initiative Grant Awarded

$5,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Snohomish County's 2023 Youth Initiative Grant program

CMS is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Snohomish County’s 2023 Youth Initiative Grant program. The grant will support CMS’s groundbreaking project, “NeuroHorizons: BIPOC Youth Expanding Brain Health” aimed at enhancing the cognitive development and overall mental well-being of local youth.

“NeuroHorizons: BIPOC Youth Expanding Brain Health” is a testament to CMS’s dedication to promoting the mental health of young individuals in our area.

This remarkable project will encompass a wide range of activities, including educational workshops, mental health awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs designed to engage and empower local youth.

What makes this achievement even more special is the fact that the grant request was written by the daughter of a dedicated volunteer doctor at CMS. Thank you, Jamie and Dr. Cho!!
